One Journey Ends Only for Another One to Begin...

Hello Bloggers!
Well I hope Peter Cottontail was generous to everyone and allowed you to have a Blessed Easter! Easter was quite and a little sad this year, with no children around, no one to hide eggs for, no one to come to dinner for home baked ham. I did, however, manage to get my mom out of the house for a while. We had a nice afternoon at the local coffee shop and then a nice little dinner at the Cracker Barrel. Now that the semester is coming to an end, I am preparing for a big semester final and putting some finishing touches on my final drafts on the papers for each of my classes. Wish me luck, I need all I can get. Now on that note, I have to turn the furnace on, mother nature is playing weather tricks on Texas again!
"Till next time..................

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter Y'all. Well fellow bloggers it is that time again, time to hide some eggs and clean some closets. Another semester is coming to end just in time for some spring cleaning, not to forget planting. Tomatoes have already started to grow on the vine. I feel very fortunate to have a beautiful view of nature from my office window. It is so much easier to relax and get some writing done when the picture in my window is of the horses in the pasture grazing on fresh spring grass, the bluebirds playing in the birdbath just outside my window and bright yellow butterflies fluttering around in the breeze. Ahh, what a wonderful time of year! Now that my mind is in a peaceful state, time to let the writing begin. Until next week, every one enjoy this gorgeous time!
God Bless,

Sniff, sniff...Do you smell that?

Well guys and gals lets hope Mother Nature doesn't put my proverbial foot in my mouth again, but I think finally Texas is seeing spring! The snow from last week finally melted and I found myself purchasing big blooms for the front yard and firing up the lawnmower. As I mowed, in shorts due to the beautiful windy weather, I was chased by butterflies and bees. And is if to remind me not to get too comfortable, nature crawled up my nose and commenced with the seasonal allergies. Twenty sneezes later, I am back at my computer ready to share my week with you and some Zyrtec! I am anxious to get my final paper written for both of my classes as sadly another semester comes to an end. Anxious, because it opens the door for new knowledge and seminar friends. Sad, because I will be leaving behind other friends and professors that I have become fond of. But as I move on I will do so with a new spirit about writing thanks to my amazing professor! Not only is it not bad, it's kind of fun! Happy writing everyone!

From Showy to Snowy

Hello everyone, hope your spring is getting off to a good start. Last week, I was loving the sights and smells of the new season. Today as I speak to you, I watch silver dollar snowflakes fall in a fast flurry! Yes folks, it is snowing in Texas again! Last week, the Bradford Pear trees were all showy with the lovely white blooms every where you turned. This week those blooms are blown away by cold northern winds and replaced with fresh white fluffy snow! So I am bundled up in hopes of some gooding reading of unit 6 drafts. If anyone sees Peter Cottontail hopping the bunny trail to Texas, tell him to put on a coat! :)
Happy blogging y'all!

Spring has sprung.....

Hello everyone in blogland! Hope your week has been awesome. I live in Texas and have all my life, but each spring I am still amazed how beautiful life and the world really is. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of our lives with family, college, finances and all the other fun stuff, we have to stop, take a deep breath and remember why we are here. So grab a glass of Sweet tea, your favorite lawn chair, head outside and sigh. Listen to the breeze, the birds, every blessing out there the Lord has offered us. Enjoy and see ya next week!

Winding down.....

This has been an eventful week full of learning, academically and in reality. I have had some trouble with computers, seems even having 3 in your house is not enough to make sure that you always have access! I am lucky enough to have all of them mess up at one time! I had a good week otherwise. Seminar was very enlightening in both of my classes this week. Turns out I am not as bad a writer as I thought. Also turns out I am sharing a classroom with some really talented people! Everybody cheer, my other good news is I AM FINALLY MOVED!!! Yeah, I am so happy! Spring is coming, trees are budding and life is good. No matter how bad life throws stones at ya, just keep your chin up, collect those stones and build a rock garden! Love life! Have a good week everyone and see ya same bat time same bat channel! :)

Happier Days To Come!

Hello everyone!
It's a great week! Got great news at the oncologists office today, Mom's cancer is shrinking! The treatments are working, she is gaining weight and we only have one more week of treatments and we get to take a break for 6 weeks! I am overjoyed the good Lord has blessed us and is taking the cancer away if at least a little! Now, I look forward to one on one time with her, my daughter and my husband in our new home during the break! But not to worry I also look forward to more one on one time with my studying, lol :)! Have a great weekend everyone and God Bless!
